Croque Monsieur Bites

These are part one of my boujee appetizers for $12 or less series! Hosting can be expensive, so I want to provide you with some fun ideas to still give your guests a tasty, special experience without breaking the bank!

Ingredients & Price Breakdown

  • Puff Pastry Sheets: $4.99 – Ok I admit, I got it on sale. But it is how much I paid!!
  • Gruyere & Swiss Cheese Blend: $2.69 – Of course, freshly shredded gruyere is traditional and would probably be better, but on the pricier side. So this cheese blend from Aldi fits in the budget and is still so tasty.
  • Deli Ham: $3.19 for 1lb. Aldi also has a great deal on freshly sliced ham, which I think made a difference. But you could use really any type of salty ham you have on hand.

Total: $10.87
