House Shrimp Scampi
A classic for a reason and an easy, flavorful weeknight meal for the whole family!

- 8 cloves garlic minced
- 1 medium shallot diced
- 1 cup white wine or chicken stock
- 1 T lemon zest about 1 lemon
- 1 lemon
- 2 T fresh parlsey
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 T unsalted butter
- Salt Pepper, and Crushed Red Pepper (to taste)
- 1 package pasta of your choice I like linguine the best, but spaghetti was what I had!
In a large sautee pan, melt your butter and olive oil together
Add in shallots and garlic and sautee until fragrant
Add white wine, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper, and cook until the wine reduces by about half
Add in shrimp and tomatoes and cook until shrimp just turn pink (don’t overcook the shrimp!)
Toss with pasta, lemon juice, and fresh parsley
Serve with freshly grated pecorino romano or parmigiano reggiano and more crushed red pepper
